Finance Suit Privacy Policy
Finance Suit is provided by Tareq Abdelwhap ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how Finance Suit collects, uses, stores, and deletes information when you use the mobile application.
Information you provide
- Account information: display name, email address, Supabase user ID, and authentication credentials. Finance Suit uses a shared Supabase sign-in that may also be used by another Building Suit or legacy finance portal. Passwords are processed by Supabase Auth and are not available to us in readable form.
- Financial records: account names and types, currencies, opening and calculated balances, transactions, categories, amounts, dates, counterparties, notes, transfers, salary records, debts, and held amounts.
- Work records: work dates, times, breaks, durations, rates, overtime, holidays, adjustments, salary periods, calculation snapshots, and notes.
- Preferences: language, timezone, currency, week and weekend settings, theme, and report date ranges.
- Communications: information you choose to include in support or deletion requests.
Do not enter payment-card numbers, bank-login credentials, government identifiers, or other information Finance Suit does not request.
Information collected automatically
Supabase and its infrastructure providers process technical information needed to operate and secure the service. This may include IP address, country inferred from IP address, user-agent information, app or operating-system information present in network headers, request timestamps, authentication events, and API or error logs.
Finance Suit does not use advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data.
Information stored only on your device
Theme, selected language, and report-filter preferences may be stored in application storage. They are not used for advertising. Finance Suit clears these preferences after successful in-app account deletion. The operating system can also remove them when the app is uninstalled.
How information is used
- Create and secure your account.
- Provide salary, work, account, transaction, held-amount, history, and reporting features.
- Synchronize records across authenticated sessions.
- Respond to support and deletion requests.
- Detect abuse, investigate failures, protect the service, comply with law, and enforce the terms.
We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, ad profiling, credit scoring, lending, employment decisions, or automated financial advice.
Service providers and disclosures
Finance Suit uses Supabase for authentication, PostgreSQL database hosting, realtime synchronization, API delivery, Edge Functions, security logging, and infrastructure. Supabase processes data on our behalf under its terms and data-processing commitments and may use subprocessors in multiple countries.
We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a lawful business reorganization. Service providers are not permitted to use Finance Suit user data for their own advertising. Before a released build uses another data processor, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Product tables use Supabase Row Level Security so authenticated users can access only their own records. Privileged credentials remain in server-side secrets and are not included in the mobile application. No system guarantees absolute security, so protect your password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Retention and deletion
Active Finance Suit product data is retained while your Finance Suit profile exists. Settings > Delete account permanently and atomically deletes the profile, preferences, salary, work, account, transaction, category, macro, and held-amount records associated with your verified user ID.
Finance Suit deletion does not delete the shared Supabase authentication identity, email/password credential, authentication metadata, or records belonging to another Building Suit or legacy finance portal. Those are retained so Finance Suit deletion does not remove access to another product. Contact us separately for help concerning the shared identity or another portal. Signing in to Finance Suit later may create a new profile through onboarding, but deleted Finance Suit records are not restored.
Supabase operational logs are retained according to the hosting plan; the current plan exposes logs for up to one day. Provider backup copies, if maintained, may remain in protected disaster-recovery systems for up to seven days before automatic expiry and are not restored for ordinary product use. Limited records may be retained longer only for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Support correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after resolution. Anonymous or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.
Your choices and rights
You can review and change your account and product records in the app. You may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
International processing
Supabase and its subprocessors may process information outside your country. Appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used where required.
Children
Finance Suit is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
